About Us

Nothing stirs nostalgia that leaves you daydreaming about old times quite like the memory of your Great-Grandmother baking old-fashioned oatmeal raisin cookies.

Inspired by his Great-Grandmother, Roxanna Johnson, Bill Crumpler developed his love for baking oatmeal cookies over 30 years ago.  He recalls devouring the warm delights, straight from the oven before they’d even had the chance to cool.  It is those childhood memories of love, laughter, and a healthy helping of freshly baked oatmeal cookies which hold a very special place in the hearts of the Crumpler family.

After his Great-grandmother’s passing, Bill knew that a whole era passed away with her and he wanted a way to keep her memory alive.  One thing he knew for sure was that family traditions preserve history and create a unique sense of belonging for each generation.  These traditions can be very simple, such as eating dinner around the kitchen table or baking cookies for your children and grandchildren.   Whatever that tradition is, it captures the comfort of togetherness, bonds, and links generations from the 7 year old to the 70 year old; and it embodies the absolute expression of love.  “For me, Bill says, baking oatmeal cookies is a way to recapture the warmth and care my Great-grandmother gave me and many others.  It is also a way to pass along the love of baking to the next generation.

HOW THE VEGAN OATMEAL COOKIES CAME TO BE:

As a father and grandfather, my quest was to recreate a plant-based version of my Great-grandmother’s traditional recipe without compromising the flavor. With some tweaks and adjustments, our Premium Vegan Oatmeal cookies were born.  Our cookies are 100% plant based, dairy and egg free, and made by hand for a genuine old-fashioned homemade taste.   Each cookie is perfectly moist and chewy, and enjoyed by vegans and non-vegans alike.   Our cookies, “taste so good, you won’t believe it’s vegan”.
